Karma ran though and park field breathing in the sweet clean air that rushed into her lungs. Karma was out to have fun and no one was going to get in her way. The sun beat down on her back warming her fur and giving Karma a delightful sensation. Karma wished Aussie would just lighten up and come with her on these trips. Karma wanted to see the world but the edge of Arytian was the as far as Karma would ever make it.

Karma leaped up on a park bench and curled up into a ball. Karma put her paw over her head and laid very still. The sun continued beating down beginning to really make Karma's fur hot. After just a few minutes Karma leaped up to a standing position on the bench and barked twice for no reason. Karma smelled some small animal maybe rabbit or squirrel. Any other time Karma would have jumped right at the chance of a snack but today she just wasn't in the mood.

Karma smiled wishing someone else was around. Karma jumped down and begin walking and thinking. It is so beautiful here and sure its safe but I want to see everything. I don't ever want to leave but I don't like the feeling of being trapped in one place. Maybe if I had more friends and not just Oz but I don't and I do have this itchy feeling to run for the horizon. Oz thinks I'm being silly but maybe I need this. Karma kicked at a pile of dirt causing it to fly and mix in with her fur. Karma shook it out her smile fading into a frown. She walked into higher grass and hide down in it thinking of going to sleep but instead pouncing up and smiling again.

Karma smelled the air and picked up on a rabbits scent not real far away. Karma felt a growing hunger so unlike the first animal this one wasn't lucky and Karma toke off toward its scent breathing in the wind.

The sun shone down on what was left of the once magnificent city of Arytia as the husky strolled the deserted streets. A crisp breeze blew softly, ruffling her fur. She sighed deeply. Eliantra loved these moments, times to just escape from the stress of her position. Elli sighed. Who was she kidding? There was no escaping. She had a job to do. Snapping back to her 'leader self', she surveyed the land, paying close attention in the direction of the Hunters' Fortress. Despite her obvious strength, Elli shuddered. To many times she had seen a small, defenseless dog being ambushed and dragged, screaming, into the darkest alleyways, to be killed and eaten. Quickening her pace, Eliantra loped into the park. She scented the air, smelling several prey scents and, oddly, a dog. "That's strange.", Elli thought, "I thought all the dogs were in the camp?" Curiously, the husky followed the scent. Soon, she came upon a Golden Retriever, tracking a rabbit. Another sniff told the husky that it was Karmabella. Ah yes, Karmabella. She joined the Arytians a few moons ago, I believe. Nice dog, that one." Silently, Elli walked over to the bench that Karma was seated on only moments before. She hopped lightly up onto the bench and layed down. Elli didn't want to disturb Karma while she was hunting. She would wait until she was finished. Sighing, Elli watched silently.

Karma pounced the rabbit digging into with her teeth to stop it from wiggling. The rabbit didn't taste all that great, Karma had a preference to birds. The wind rustled sending scents of more prey right at her and something else. Another dog perhaps. Karma lifted her head to the wind and sniffed the air again. She smelt it again. I know this one. I think its....Eliantra. Yes that's her leader of us all.

Karma turned and begin to walk in the direction of the scent. She carefully avoided being to loud. Elli seemed to be asleep on the bench Karma had recently been laying on. Karma wanted to talk but she didn't want to brother Elli who seemed to be so at peace.

Karma walked around in a complete circle before noticing Elli wasn't asleep.OK I feel really stupid now. "Hello Eliantra." Karma spoke. Karma didn't say Elli to scared the leader would find it disrespectful.
